The BTS80 EMB Series is an aesthetically pleasing floor closer for fire and life safety, remote release and control, or tempered glass door applications.

This closer is an ideal solution in applications where surface applied life safety products cannot be installed or are objectionable due to aesthetics.

Electromagnetic hydraulic hold open feature The BTS80 EMB Series of floor-concealed door closers provide an electromagnetic hydraulic hold open feature, allowing doors to self-close upon the interruption of electrical current, yet remain functional in noncritical situations. The BTS80 EMB includes a selective type hold open with a range of approximately 65° to 175°.
Designed for fire/life safety applications The BTS80 EMB is specifically designed to be used in fire/life safety applications where the hold open is electrically controlled by a fire alarm contact. The closer is typically placed into the hold open position until a fire alarm condition.
Hold open and privacy function When installed in conjunction with a maintained control switch, the BTS80 EMB  can be used as a hold open/privacy function. The switch controls the power on (hold open) or off (privacy) to the closer, giving an application, such as in a classroom, two functional characteristics. Use the hold open feature during setup of the room or as occupants enter and exit between sessions. Use the privacy feature during class. Power out when using the privacy feature, preventing doors from being accidentally caught in the hold open position as occupants exit and re-enter as needed.
Office function In an office setting, the BTS80 EMB can be used to maintain the hold open position of a door until interrupted by a momentary switch located near or on the occupant’s desk when privacy is desired. This office function can be set up as a hard-wired or wireless connection.

With the ED 100 swing door operator DORMA offers an electromechanical swing door operator for various fields of application. The operator may be installed as a push version with a standard arm assembly or as a pull version with slide channel.

Variable functional range Apart from the extended cover, DORMA also provides an easy-to-install integrated door coordinator for double-leaf doors. With the aid of the DORMA Upgrade Card, the system’s functional range may be adapted to various door versions. The large scope of integrated functions further ensures that the majority of possible applications can be readily accommodated.
Door Closer mode & Automatic mode Users may choose between two operating modes: Door Closer and Automatic. While set to Door Closer mode, the ED 100 swing door operator is optimized for manual operation. With its optional Power Assist function, the Door Closer mode is tailored to predominantly manually operated doors where a door closer function is desired. The Automatic mode in turn is especially suitable for mainly automatic access with motion detector or pushbutton actuation.
Wind load control The ED 100 swing door operator is especially suitable for exterior doors that are subjected to varying wind loads, and for interior doors separating rooms where different air pressures prevail. While the system is in Automatic mode, the wind load control monitors the actuation speed, keepting it constant at the present value.

Permanent-open function When the permanent-open function is activated, the door is held open by a solenoid valve in a way which ensures stability as well as operational silence.
Suitable for fire and smoke check doors The DORMA ED 200 - available from EN 4-6 up to size EN 7 - is also suitable for fire and smoke check doors, even with its permanent-open function and numerous control . Double-leaf doors may also be equipped with an integrated door coordinator (ED 200 ESR) which is concealed behind the cover.

With the ED 250 swing door operator DORMA offers an electromechanical swing door operator for various fields of application. The operator may be installed as a push version with standard arm assembly and as a pull version with slide channel.

Variable functional range Apart from the extended cover, DORMA also provides an easy-to-install integrated door coordinator for double-leaf doors. With the aid of the DORMA Upgrade Card, the system’s functional range may be adapted to various door versions. The large scope of integrated functions further ensures that the majority of possible applications can be readily accommodated.
Door Closer mode & Automatic mode Users may choose between two operating modes: Door Closer and Automatic mode. While set to the Door Closer mode, the ED 250 swing door operator is optimized for manual operation. With its optional Power Assist function, the Door Closer mode is tailored to predominantly manually operated doors where a door closer function is desired. The Automatic mode in turn is especially suitable for mainly automatic access with motion detector or pushbutton actuation.

The DORMA RS 120/120 Syncro features a hollow-section aluminum track that is light yet rugged and resistant to twisting. It can be fixed directly under the ceiling or onto a wall. The RS 120 Syncro features a cable and deflection device for synchronously opening a biparting doorset. So a minimum of effort leads to the maximum opening width.
